Owls Claim Second Place at Aggies Open

potentially Ella Heipt? at Delaware Valley

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - The Owls cross country team was back in action up the road at Delaware Valley, and Bryn Mawr put on quite the performance on the day. Racing a squad heavily-laden with first-years, Bryn Mawr flew past almost all of the competition, taking second place as a team in the event.

Marien Richardson and Charlotte McDermott led the way for the Owls, taking seventh and eighth place respectively. Finishing close behind was Corinne Hartshorne in 15th, with Eliza Lehman and Camryn Karis-Sconyers wrapping up the scoring for the Owls' top five. Each of those five runners posted personal records on the day as well, despite it being a challenging course and an unseasonably warm day.

Ella Heipt was the sixth Owl across the line, and she too posted a personal record on the 6k course. Evelyn Fort and Hope Jones wrapped up the Owls in action on the day.

Bryn Mawr will return to action on Friday night for their second home invitational of the season. The Owls will return to Rose Tree Park in Media on Friday for the Dan Talbot Open, with the women's race set to start at 6:15 PM.

"The team was supported today by members of the Richardson and Hartshorne families. Many thanks to those who were in attendance and to those that supported us from afar." - Assistant Coach Dickerson
