team huddle prior to meet fall 2019

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Bryn Mawr swim team earned recognition this week for their impressive performances in the classroom, as the Owls have been named to the Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.

To earn the honor, teams must have posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester. Bryn Mawr easily surpassed that requirement, as the Owls put together an impressive 3.60 team GPA in the fall. That mark is the third-highest of any Centennial Conference women's team to have earned the recognition. It is also puts the Owls in the top-25 out of the 183 Division III women's programs to earn Scholar All-America status. Overall, 762 programs earned Scholar All-America status for the fall semester, representing 17,685 student-athletes.

The Owls will be back in action at home this weekend for their final regular season meet of the 2019-2020 campaign. Bryn Mawr will welcome McDaniel to campus on Saturday for a 1:00 PM meet, with the Owls slated to celebrate the careers of their seniors right before the meet kicks off.
