Professor Kalala J. Ngalamulume started teaching at Bryn Mawr College as an assistant Professor in 2000 for African Studies and History. In 2005, he became an Associate Professor for African Studies and History. Professor Ngalamulume previously taught at Central Washington University and Michigan State University. He is originally from the Republic of Zaire, later to be named Democratic Republic of the Congo in 1997. Professor Ngalamulume has published two books; Colonial Pathologies, Environments, and Western Medicine in Saint-Louis-Du-Senegal, 1867-1920and Health and Medicine in Africa: Interdisciplinary Perspectives.
