Owls XC/Track and Field Teams Host Successful Alumnae Day

BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Bryn Mawr cross country and track and field teams combined to host a very successful Alumnae Day earlier Saturday afternoon.

Natalia Phillip won the Throwers Triathlon for the second year in a row. She dominated all three events to take the overall title.

Down at sprints, it was a late pass by Coach Moore to take the win (Nelson, Banishashem-Ahmad, Gonzalez, Moore).

First year standout Jennica Terry won the 50m Dash, just edging out a mistimed lean from Coach Moore (men ran 55m).

Faculty Fellow Tim Harte was the first to cover the 2.75k XC course. The lead pack of Anna Kyle, Kate Edwards, and Emily George was first on the Women's side.

Team scores on the 3k put the current team solidly in first place with only 25pts. Alums and Friends&Family ended up with a tie score of 59 pts, but the Alums won on the tie-break.

Many thanks to all the alums who made the trip back and all the parents that came to cheer!
