LANCASTER, Pa. - The Centennial Conference released their 2017 volleyball All-Conference selections earlier Monday morning, and as part of that process the league also announced its annual All-Sportsmanship Team. Bryn Mawr sophomore Jess DeJoie was honored by the league by being named to that All-Sportsmanship team.
DeJoie played in all 23 of the Owls' matches this season, an impressive feat for any first-year player. The Massachusetts native was one of the main forces at the net for Bryn Mawr this year, contributing to 17 total blocks on the season.
"Jess has been a great addition to the team this year," stated Bryn Mawr head coach Nicole Reilly. "She came into the season ready to work and put in countless hours of extra time on the court while also having an amazing attitude. She has a big heart and always supported her teammates and coaches while keeping perspective during some challenging times."
DeJoie and the rest of the Owls will continue to train hard throughout the offseason in preparation for their 2018 campaign which begins next September!
