PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior Kristina Kronauer broke the school record in the 10K Friday afternoon at the Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton University.
Kronauer's time of 36:20.75 destroyed the previous mark set by Katie Weng by more than 70 seconds. Weng's mark of 37:32.54 was set back in 2007. In the race, Kronauer finished 7th overall behind six Division I runners. Abby Levene of Princeton won the race in a time of 34:21.08.
Also running at Princeton was sophomore Claudia Keep. Keep ran a 17:43.48 in the 5K to be the fastest runner from Division III. She finished 24th overall.
