READING, Pa. - The Owls track and field team sent a pair of members over to Albright College earlier Sunday for the Albright Throws Meet.

Lexi Boutchie collected a pair of season best performances on the day. The senior took sixth in the shot put, throwing a long of 9.48 meters in the event. Boutchie also posted a best in the weight throw, taking 14th with a long of 7.38 meters.

Zaynah Moen also had a strong afternoon. The junior took 13th in both the shot put (7.38 m) and the weight throw (7.73 m).

The Owls will be back in action as a full squad on Saturday, when the team travels just down Lancaster Ave. to Haverford for the Keogh Invitational. That meet is set to start at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
