Terry Named USTFCCCA Indoor Track & Field All-Region Honoree

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Bryn Mawr sprint standout Jennica Terry has raked in another prestigious honor today after her tremendous first-year performance for the Owls track & field team. The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced their All-Region honorees for the 2018 NCAA Division III indoor track & field season today, and Terry has been recognized on that list.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the region's top-3 relays teams. Terry earned her way onto the list of honorees by way of her impressive performance at the Centennial Conference Championship. In the 60 meter hurdles, the first-year Owl shattered her own school record and won the event with a time of 9.04 seconds. That ended up being the fifth-fastest performance in the entire NCAA Division III Mideast Region. In fact, Terry almost made it on the list twice, as her record-breaking time of 7.98 seconds in her win of the 60 meter dash at the conference championship ended up being the tenth-fastest time in the region.

A total of 772 honors were handed out by the USTFCCCA to men's athletes, while 781 awards were bestowed to athletes from women's programs. Terry was one of 26 Centennial Conference student-athletes to receive the honor this season, with those honorees coming from five Centennial Conference institutions.
