Final Tune-Up Before Conference Championships for Pair of Runners

LANCASTER, Pa. / PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore Claudia Keep and senior Kristina Kronauer made their final preparations for next weekend's Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Ursinus College next weekend by competing Saturday morning in two different invitationals.

Keep traveled to Princeton University for the Princeton Invitational where she ran in the mile. Overall, she had a strong race as she competed against runners in all three divisions as she finished in 4th place. She produced a new personal-best time in the event by running a 5:09.38.

Traveling to Franklin & Marshall's Coach I Invitational, Kronauer not only won the 5K, but she lapped the field, twice. En route to her victory, she qualified for the conference 5K run with a time of 18:26. As Kronauer came to the finish line, the second place finisher still had roughly 400m to run.

Both runners as well as the rest of the track and field team will travel to Ursinus on Saturday, Feb. 23rd for the Centennial Conference Championships.
