Soccer Closes Out 2013 Season

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – With the final horn of the game, the 2013 edition of the Bryn Mawr College soccer team came to an end. However, it wasn't the ending that the Owls had hoped for as they fell to Muhlenberg 4-0 in league action.

It took the Mules nearly the entire first-half to get on the board but CJ Graetzer did just that in the 44th minute with an unassisted goal from the front of the box. Muhlenberg took the 1-0 lead into the half.

In the second, Jacelin Muschlitz scored from the top of the box when Colleen Touhey crossed the ball on a corner. It was Graetzer scoring again in the 75th minute of play to give the Mules the 3-0 lead.

With less than nine minutes to play in the game, Touhey scored her second goal of the season with help from Gabriela De Frutos who passed the ball to the front of the net and Touhey was able to get a touch on the ball.

The Mules outshot Bryn Mawr 19-1 and held a 7-1 advantage in corners.

Bryn Mawr's only shot of the day came from the foot of junior Marcela Dorfsman-Hopkins. Sophomore goalie Aviva Kosansky posted three saves in her 90 minutes of work.

Bryn Mawr finished the year 2-15 overall and 0-10 in Centennial Conference action.
