BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Visiting Gettysburg used a four-goal first half en route to a 5-0 Centennial Conference win over the Owls Saturday afternoon on Applebee Field.
The Bullets got on the board in the 8th minute when Tara Crowley sent a pass to Hannah Theurer who headed the ball into the back of the net. Nine minutes later, it was Crowley with the assist again but this time Georgia Ferguson netted the tally.
In the 22nd minute, Theurer got her second goal of the game as she took a Molly Phillips pass and lofted it over sophomore goalie Aviva Kosansky's head. In the 43rd minute, Carly Cobbol scored her only goal of the game with help from Melissa Seinder to give the Bullets the 4-0 lead heading into the half.
In the second-half, Ferguson tallied her second goal of the game in the 50th minute on a penalty kick.
Bryn Mawr returns to the pitch on Wednesday, Oct. 16, when they take on rival Haverford at 3:00 pm on Applebee Field
