GRAND LAKE, Colo. - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association released their academic honors late last week, with Bryn Mawr being named on multiple lists. The Owls were featured in both the IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad list and on the IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Honor Roll.
The IWLCA has named 312 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads for the 2016-17 academic year. In order to qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the year. The IWLCA honored student-athletes from 160 different institutions with inclusion in the 2017 IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll. In order to be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
