Owls' Winter Teams Draw Academic Praise From Centennial Conference

Centennial Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Centennial Conference announced their Winter 2016-17 Academic Honor Roll earlier Thursday, with 13 Bryn Mawr student-athletes being recognized for their outstanding efforts both in the classroom and on the playing surface.

Bryn Mawr's indoor track and field team led the way with nine student-athletes featured on the list, including seniors Irina Buchok, Ashley Macina, and Sydney Maves. The Owls' swimming team placed three members on the honor roll, including senior Allegra Armstrong, while Bryn Mawr basketball featured one student-athlete on the list.

To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher. Overall, 371 student-athletes were recognized for their performance around the conference this season.
