PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Bryn Mawr crew team helped get the annual Dad Vail Regatta underway earlier Friday afternoon as they featured a 4+ boat in the Varsity Four DII-DIII trials.
With Ritvika Patodia setting a solid pace at the stroke seat, Bryn Mawr fought some choppy water and a bit of a breeze throughout the race. Ultimately, the Owls claimed sixth place in their trial, finishing in a time of 9:27. They were able to stick close with the boat from Stockton much of the way through the event, but the Owls ultimately finished just over three seconds behind their fellow Division III competitors.
Bryn Mawr will be right back in action tomorrow, featuring the final of the V8+ race. The Owls will face off against teams from Stockton, Coast Guard Academy, Washingon College, Vassar, and North Park, with that event slated to start at 4:30 PM.
