Bryn Mawr Athletics Announces First-Ever Homecoming

BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Bryn Mawr Athletics announces its first ever Homecoming Weekend, set to take place on Saturday, October 28th. Whether it is alums coming back for a game with their former teammates or families and fans coming to campus for a full day of varsity games against a local rival, Homecoming offers plenty excitement for the entire Bryn Mawr Athletics family!

The weekend starts Friday night at 7:00 PM with an Alumnae panel, where several BMC Athletics alums return to campus and share their experiences and memories with current student-athletes and the rest of the Bryn Mawr family. Saturday kicks off with a pair of alumnae games in the morning, with volleyball alumnae taking the court at 10:00 AM and tennis alumnae competing at 11:00 AM. Then the varsity action kicks off!

Bryn Mawr field hockey gets the slate of varsity games going with a contest against Ursinus at 11:00 AM. The Owls will continue their “Beat the Bears” theme throughout the afternoon, as volleyball takes on Ursinus at 1 PM and soccer closes out the varsity games against the Bears at 2 PM on Applebee Field.

Following the end of the soccer game, other alumnae contests will take place. Basketball takes the court at 3:00 PM for their alumnae game, and soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse all will kick off their alumnae games at 4:00 PM.

Throughout all of those games, there will be plenty of tailgating and entertainment, including an Alumnae tailgate on Cambrian Row. Homecoming will close with several more alumnae games taking place later in the afternoon on Saturday, offering one more chance for Athletics alumnae to get back on the field and compete. The day wraps up with a trip to a local watering hole at 5:30 for Happy Hour, offering alums a chance to hang out one last time before heading back home.

Homecoming is free to attend for all, and alumnae are encouraged to bring along their families to help cheer on the Owls throughout the day! Registration for the event is available at the link below!
