Bryn Mawr College and the NCAA requires all of our varsity sports teams and rugby to be cleared medically prior to any practice or competition. The following links will help show you the process you need to follow to be cleared. Please follow the instructions precisely; improperly completing the process could delay your clearance. If you have any questions, please contact a member of the Sports Medicine Office. The best way to contact us is via email at firstname.lastname@example.org especially during the summer. During the academic year, please feel free to call 610-526-7346
Please click one of the following that best describes your situation:
1. Returning Varsity/Rugby Student Athlete – These individuals have been cleared and participated on an NCAA varsity athletic team while attending Bryn Mawr College within the past twelve (12) months. Transfer students do NOT qualify as a returning student athlete as any physical done at another institution does not count here at Bryn Mawr College.
2. New Varsity Student Athlete – These individuals have never gone through the physical process (i.e. first year student or transfer student or upperclassman that just decided to go out for a varsity team). These students will need to have had a physical by a physician within six (6) months of participating with a varsity team.
