Tim Harte, an associate professor of Russian, has served as Bryn Mawr’s Faculty Athletic Representative since 2007.
Throughout his time as an undergraduate at Harvard University, Tim ran varsity x-country and track and field, and his senior year he was co-captain of the men’s track and field team. His personal bests include an 8:21 for 3000 meters and 4:12 for the mile. After college, he moved up in distance to the marathon, where he clocked a personal best of 2 hours and 26 min. (Chicago, 1999). Tim continues to run (but not competitively), while he also enjoys faculty/staff basketball at BMC as well as soccer and tennis.
