Bryn Mawr Spring Athletes Earn Academic Praise From Centennial Conference

Spring 2020 Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. - Despite the cancelation of the spring athletics seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centennial Conference announced their 2020 spring academic honors, and numerous Bryn Mawr student-athletes drew praise for their academic prowess. Overall, 26 Owls were named to the conference's Academic Honor Roll. The league was unable to award Academic All-Centennial honors this year, but did also note that Anna Kyle, Jennica Terry, and Kass Wojcik have all earned All-Conference in their career and would thus have had a good chance at being  named Academic All-Centennial this spring.

To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher. To be named Academic All-Centennial, a student-athlete must receive both All-Conference and Academic Honor Roll honors.

The Owls outdoor track & field team led the way for the spring teams, featuring 16 student-athletes on the league's Academic Honor Roll. Bryn Mawr's lacrosse team added another ten student-athletes to the list. Overall, 749 spring season student-athletes from around the conference were recognized on the Academic Honor Roll.
