LANCASTER, Pa. - The Centennial Conference announced their 2019 fall academic honors on Tuesday, and Bryn Mawr student-athletes earned their way onto the lists of honors thanks to some hard work both in the classroom and on the playing surface. Overall, 32 Owls were named to the conference's Academic Honor Roll, and field hockey's Mary Cugini and Sara Rilatt were each named Academic All-Centennial.
To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher. To be named Academic All-Centennial, a student-athlete must receive both All-Conference and Academic Honor Roll honors. Cugini and Rilatt were each named First Team All-Centennial Conference earlier this fall, and both are members of this year's fall Academic Honor Roll.
The Owls cross country team led the way for the fall teams, featuring 11 student-athletes on the league's Academic Honor Roll. Bryn Mawr's field hockey team featured nine, soccer featured eight, and Bryn Mawr volleyball featured four student-athletes earning the honor as well. Overall, 676 fall season student-athletes from around the conference were recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, while 91 student-athletes were named Academic All-Centennial.
