Fall Student-Athletes Draw Praise From Centennial Conference

Emily Haller, Abigail Lua, Carlie Hansen, and Jess DeJoie headline the 2018 Fall Academic Honor Roll for Bryn Mawr

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Centennial Conference announced their 2018 fall academic honors on Tuesday, and Bryn Mawr student-athletes earned their way all over the lists thanks to some hard work both in the classroom and on the playing surface. Overall, 26 Owls were named to the conference's Academic Honor Roll, and field hockey's Sara Rilatt was named Academic All-Centennial.

To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher. To be named Academic All-Centennial, a student-athlete must receive both All-Conference and Academic Honor Roll honors. Rilatt was named to Second-Team All-Centennial Conference earlier this fall and is also a member of the 2018 Academic Honor Roll.

The Owls cross country team led the way for the fall teams, featuring nine student-athletes on the league's Academic Honor Roll. Bryn Mawr's field hockey and soccer teams each featured seven student-athletes on the list, while three Bryn Mawr volleyball student-athlete earned honors as well. Overall, 639 fall season student-athletes from around the conference were recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, while 80 student-athletes were named Academic All-Centennial.
